Products

Every motor claim now arrives as a set of photographs, and two questions follow. What is the damage worth, and is the evidence real? SOFT EDGE builds products that answer both from the same technology core: computer vision running on standard devices, measurement without a dedicated scanning rig, and standardised output that claims and estimating systems can consume directly.

HailMaster

In production Vehicle damage assessment on a standard smartphone or tablet.

An operator walks around the vehicle following on-screen guidance. The application detects and sizes each dent, maps it to the correct panel zone, and produces a standardised assessment in around fifteen minutes, with no scanning rig, no fixed installation and no dedicated hardware to move between sites.

Guided capture

On-screen masks and overlays direct the operator, so results do not depend on who is holding the device.

Panel-zone mapping

Dents are counted and sized per panel zone, giving one consistent structure across every vehicle and every assessor.

Your calculation logic

Twenty two calculation matrices are built in. Dent count only mode hands the commercial step back to your estimating system.

How insurers use HailMaster

HailMaster Connect

In production The platform and API layer behind the assessments.

Connect is where assessments are administered rather than captured. Cases, users, tenants, reporting and integration all live here, and the API delivers finished assessment data into the systems where claims are actually settled.

Case management

Every assessment, its photographs and its audit trail in one place, organised by tenant and by user.

Reporting

Standardised damage and repair reports, exportable as structured data or as a document for the claim file.

Integration

An API and prepared integration templates for claims and estimating systems, rather than a manual re-key at the end of the process.

Claims integrity

MVP in development Verification of the evidence a claim is built on.

Measurement answers what the damage is worth. It does not answer whether the photographs are real. Our second product applies the same discipline to the evidence itself: image manipulation analysis, metadata forensics and vehicle identity validation, combined into a single score that routes a claim to a human reviewer rather than deciding anything on its own.

The product is at MVP stage and we are selecting a small number of design partners. It is not generally available.
